Itinerary

1 Day Sometimes due to late arrival to the island or other circumstances, you won’t be able to do the pool session practice the afternoon before. In these cases, we will try to do the pool session in the early morning. Be ready to have an early wake-up to enjoy the calmness of the pool training before the boat departure for 2 dives in the sea. The boat will be back around 2 pm to 3 pm meaning you can still leave to Bali mainland on the last speed boat at 4.30 pm. This option is not always available due to sea conditions and the pool sessions start around 7 am.

Info

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving in Lembongan but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Lembongan course is for you. Nusa Lembongan is a perfect dive destination with the majestic Manta Rays all year round. Yes, you can try diving with Manta Rays in Nusa Penida! While not a scuba certification course, the Padi Discover Scuba Diving in Lembongan is a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world and could be the first step towards the Padi Open Water Course. TRY DIVING WITH MANTA RAYS LEMBONGAN You will get the rare opportunity to dive with Manta rays! Few places in the world will offer you such consistent sightings. These majestic creatures measure up to 5 meters wide. They are a type of large cartilaginous fish. Basically, they consist of two species: the Reef manta ray and Oceanic manta ray. Reef mantas are slightly smaller and grow up to 5.5 meters wide. On the other hand, Oceanic manta rays can grow up to 8.8 meters wide. The Reef manta ray is what you will usually see in our waters. Contrary to popular belief, they are totally harmless. They do not possess a stinger, as they are often confused for stingrays. Another interesting aspect is that their food source consists of the microscopic plankton. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING LEMBONGAN The Discover Scuba Diving Lembongan Course is our most popular program. This is because it takes only 2 half days. In fact, total beginners are allowed and you do not need to be able to swim. Firstly, you will learn the basic safety procedures you’ll need to dive. Therefore, you will be permanently under the supervision of one of our PADI professional instructors. During your first briefing, we’ll teach you the basics of the equipment you’ll use. Next, you’ll experience what it’s like to breathe underwater and how to swim around with scuba gear. Obviously, this short training will occur within our swimming pool, giving you the opportunity to build your confidence at your own pace. Once ready, your instructor will give you another briefing about the boat, the marine life, and what we expect from you in the open ocean. Be reassured that your instructor is here to will help you with your buoyancy and to take care of your safety. While you explore the marine environment, your instructor will be next to you at all times to show you around and make sure you have a truly unforgettable experience!
